Tom Ruede Appointed to RestaurantPoint East’s Advisory Board

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – RestaurantPoint East has appointed Tom Ruede, Vice President of Business Development at NXTPoint Logistics, to its Advisory Board.

In this role, Ruede will help support the organization’s mission of innovating the restaurant industry. Leveraging NXTPoint’s extensive resources and nationwide reach, Ruede has crafted streamlined solutions for leading brands such as McDonald’s, Starbucks, Home Depot, Footlocker, Brinker, Circle K, Sheetz, Flynn, and more.

As the Vice President of Business Development, Ruede is responsible for developing strategic partnerships with key clients, overseeing complex logistics projects from conception to implementation, and leading cross-functional teams to improve efficiency across the retail, restaurant, and convenience store industry.

Ruede has attended various RestaurantPoint East events in the last few years and believes in their format that has helped him convert many discussions into strategic partnerships. This background was a motivating factor for his decision to accept this role supporting the organization.

In sharing what he hopes to accomplish and contribute while on RestaurantPoint East’s Advisory Board: “Being on the board will allow me to assist any new companies attending with questions, answers and expectations,” said Ruede. “Working alongside industry leaders involved with designing meeting formats, guest speakers and discussion panels will provide valuable insights and help shape the direction of our company’s growth.”
