Trish St. John Appointed to Northeast Florida Safety Council’s Board of Directors

The Northeast Florida Safety Council has appointed Trish St. John, SVP of EHS & Quality Assurance at NXTPoint Logistics, to its Board of Directors.

In this role, St. John will help support the nonprofit’s mission to prevent workplace fatalities and injuries across Northeast Florida. She brings over 20 years of experience in workplace safety, risk management, environmental compliance, and quality assurance programs in the logistics and supply chain industry.

St. John has partnered with the Safety Council for over a decade, using their safety training services and collaborating on workplace injury prevention programs for NXTPoint’s Jacksonville distribution centers. This background was a motivating factor for her decision to accept this role supporting the nonprofit.

“I hope to share innovative ideas by bringing a perspective of what front line workers experience in the supply chain industry and emerging risks we are seeing in the workplace,” said St. John. “I’m excited to bring a safety perspective that supports the vision of preventing workplace fatalities.” As a member of the board, St. John looks forward to continuing sharing supply chain safety best practices and emerging workplace hazard trends. She also aims to support the organization’s community road safety initiatives given the significant fleet and commercial drivers that NXTPoint Logistics oversees across the region.
